NESS provides Plastic TAX compliance. As of April 1, 2022, the UK’s Plastic Packaging Tax (General) Regulations 2022 are in effect. The new charge is being implemented, in part, to promote recycling. The tax only applies to plastic packaging products with less than 30% recycled content. Therefore, a plastic container that contains 35% recycled material is tax-free.

The GEX resin is created through a meticulous, multistep process that transforms eggshells into an ultra-fine bio-calcium powder featuring particles as tiny as one micron, which is then pelletized. This versatile material can be seamlessly blended with virgin plastic, offering an impressive reduction in plastic content ranging from 30% to 50%.
